    Art materials to make a picture
    You will have to have a printer to type out the worksheet

Before you read:
   Activity One: Write a story about a time that you remember being in the hospital or visiting a hospital. To get some ideas of what to write about, refer to this site, Hospital interacting with at least three different people in the story.

While you read:
    As you are paging through the story of Curious George, if you find a problem with the understanding of a word, please refer to the Dictionary.

After you read:
Activity One: After you have read, make a timeline of all that has happened to George.
Activity Two: Complete the following worksheet and turn in to the teacher.  Challenge yourself to see if you can find two more words not on the list.

Beyond what you read:

Choose one of the following activities.

1. Help Curious George in his quest to match the hats.
2. Send a greeting card to your friend and your teacher.  When you get to the site, Click on "Greeting Cards."  Write to your teacher four things that you liked and four things that you disliked about the story.
