In 1988, the secret burial site of the Ancient Egyptian Kings was discovered by Dr. Kent Weeks. He is an Egyptologists at the American University in Cairo, Egypt. His amazing adventure was covered by Time Magazine in its May 26 edition of 1988.

Your textbook has a shorten version of the story for you to read on pages 106-111.

Read and explore what an Egyptologist does. Visit an actual site where an Egyptologists works. Take notes in your journal to describe the job of an Egyptologist.

 

Identify all the modern day counties that Ramasses II Empire included. Idenify the Middle Eastern Countries of Libya to Iraq.
