Before You Read:
Activity One:  Click here to go to the web site to find the chameleon.  After finding the chameleon, write down why you think the chameleon was hard to find.

After You Read:
Activity One:  What were the colors of the animals in the book ,
A Color of his Own ?  Match the color of each animal to the animals in the book.
Activity Two:  What happened in the story that made the chameleon change his mind about having a color of his own?  After answering this question, click on colors to find out why and how chameleons change colors.

Beyond What You Read:
Click on chameleons to find out more about chameleons.  When you get into the web site, go to the right side, and click on "introduction".  After reading the passage, answer the following questions.  If you need help, go back and read the passage again.
